Only this operating system make me smile like I'm 5 and see a puppy.
I don't know why but it still does. Its fast, funny and professional.
It has also incredible derivates, it is great for otherwise useless
old computers, to surprise friends with 'Puppy on an USB-stick' or
just to use it like any other rare OS that does what it promise.
I prefer cats but I love this Puppy.
Puppy Linux packs more functionality in 100mb than most distros that i have tried have packed in 700mb.
it is the only live distro that i know of that can handle Adobe Flash without downloading anything.
getting updates is easy, using synaptic/puppy package manager. SliTaz could compete with Puppy Linux if it weren't such a puzzle setting up wifi with SliTaz. with Puppy linux, everything is easy. it is a valuable tool, especially if your hard drive dies. and it is easily customizable/expandable, so you can do whatever you like. compare its functionality with a ~700mb distro like fedora12 or knoppix 6.2 SPOILER: Puppy wins.
